What is finger drumming?
Finger drumming means playing drum grooves with your fingers on pads, usually a 4×4 grid like the one on an MPC, Maschine or Ableton Push. Each pad triggers a sound (kick, snare, hi-hat…) and your fingers on both hands play the full groove.
How do I learn finger drumming from scratch?
Start with simple kick, snare and hi-hat patterns at a slow tempo, repeat the bar until it's clean and raise the tempo little by little. Fingerdrum Pro gives you that order: 936 patterns in 10 genres, from beginner to advanced, with a score and pads that light up in time.
Do I need a pad controller?
